this week is full of emotions
different emotions
being everything to everyone is difficult
being a mom, businesswoman, employee, employer
i did some scrapping last night
so pleased with my layout
got my photots printed today
so pleased with myself
i mentioned in my previous post that i was getting all my half and unfinished projects in order. this is a layout that we did with tracy schimper, probably about 2 years ago! its a heritage one, of my mom. i just need her to journal in it for me, but i'm really pleased with the way it has turned out.
hope you are having a wonderful weekend. it feels that the weather has warmed up some what - lets hope summer is finally on its way...
happy scrappin'

In a Rut
sometimes i am unable to sit down and find inspiration. do you ever feel like that too? i surf all the stunning blogs and everyone's work and think how gorgeous the layouts and projects are. then i wonder when i will create something, but i am so busy 'researching' what i want to do that i don't actually get around to doing it ! silly.....
we do that in life too. we are so often looking at other people's lives, other situations, envying others and what they have that we too often forget to live our own lives and what we have. life lessons i guess....
i have so many u.f.l (unfinished layouts) that i have really made an effort lately to get them sorted out. i put the layouts that need journalling or titles together, some are missing one or two pics and others that really need some care and attention. i have found this has really worked to help me feel sorted, and when i sit down with only a few minutes, i know i can grab the 'easy ones' to finish (ie titles, journalling etc).
i have reduced my u.f.l drastically this past 2 months and am so pleased. here is one that i have managed to 'throw together'.
i used bo bunny papers and just loved the colours. my sister printed the pictures with a white border, which i never ever do, and the result is so stunning on this page with all the colours. i don't think the picture reflects the lovely colourful layout. i stamped with kaisercraft stamp for the journalling and the felt flowers were a find at a CNA sale, for next to nothing!
quick simple and easy-peasy

Farewell to Scrapaholics
The time has come to say farewell to Scrapaholics. What a wonderful journey it has been. I have learnt so much, met some stunning ladies, been more creative than i could ever have imagined, made new friends, learnt life lessons and more!
With my full time job, 2 year old toddler (and another one due in January), the state of the world economy and the increased rental on the new lease, i think the time was right. I have loved Scrapaholics, not only for what it meant to me and preserving my memories, but also to my valued customers. The wonderful creative outlet that the shop is, and what it has meant to so many people is encouraging.
I am definitely going to be making kits, and hopefully be teaching too - so I have no doubt that I will see you all again!
The Scrapaholics blog won't be updated anymore and I will be posting here from now on - watch this space for preggie updates and some scrapping that I have managed to do. I spent 3 glorious hours while Morgan slept catching up on some unfinished projects. Yayness
