My training started on Saturday, for Ironman 70.3 2015. Its a year to get ready and i will need every day of this year!
I've been training a little bit on the running front. Doing interval training to increase my stamina. Running 3 minutes and walking 1 for a few weeks. On Saturday I decided to see how far I can run in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes I still felt good and was able to do a full 20 minutes. 2.7km in 20 minutes - that was pretty good going on my first attempt! I was thrilled.
Sunday I was back in the gym, ran for 20 minutes and did 2.7km again. Feeling good. Still doing powerplate, that machine is awesome! Love how tired my muscles get after a workout. I do 3 sets of arms and always do the planks. how about doing the 30 day plank challenge with me. More on that next time.
Heres to being, fit and healthy and enjoying the outdoors.

MISTER BLAKES FIRST LAYOU
Good day everyone!
If you are wondering where i've been - well, sorry for the absence!
We sold our house, and moved 2 weeks ago. But we have moved in with my brother (hes a batchelor and we are a family of 4, including a baby plus a cat!!) So an adjustment for all. should be here a few weeks while we do alterations to our new home. and then we move again.....
they say moving is up there on the list of most stressful things, such as divorce and death. i can vouch for that. between packing and organising and managing and time frames etc, its not easy.
but back to scrapbooking. have you managed to get some pretty things done? speaking of pretty things, i bought a heidi swapp warehouse sale box which arrived last week. i am so thrilled with my goodies and can't wait to scrap some pretty things! you will be sure to see some of that heidi swapp magic coming up on here shortly.
the latest sketch is up at scrapbook challenges blog. have you had a look? here is the sketch:

What a cute sketch don't you think? Here is my take. i think i stuck pretty close to the sketch, other than the title which i placed differently.
I used the new Bo Bunny - Mama Razzi2.Just love this whole range so much!! its gorgeous. (i am a sucker for clocks and cameras, so it is right up my ally!!)
I used the layered chipboard pieces and 4 sheets of double sided paper.
We go every year for family photoshoots, and this pic is from February when Blake was 7 weeks old. he's 12 weeks now, time flies by too fast.
Have a scrappy day!

Hello Bloggers

Here is the sketch, a real treat for journal fundies :)

Sketch 333
I didn't do the journalling parts, not so much anyway. A small journal tags was added for the story.
Here is my take:
Paper used is Prima, American Craft cardstock and Daisy D's.
Chipboard pieces by Prima, My Little Bicycle and Kaisercraft.
Flowers are Prima and Petaloo.
Alphabet stickers are Pebbles, American Crafts.
Quote stickers are from Graphic 45.
All paper was distressed, this created texture and raised the photos. The middle photo is raised even more with the Prima chipboard clock.
I really enjoyed this sketch. Am quite happy with the way it came out, such a fun and bright page - which is what the day was. Even though i have used a lot of paper and embellishments the photos are still the main feature on the page.
Using my scraps from different lines and manufacturers, can create a well balanced layout.
Thank you for stopping by, and please upload your layout to our gallery, and you are welcome to leave a comment here.
Scrappy love
Zoe

Tom's Farewell Album
Good day!!
In August Tom Grobben, from the Netherlands, joined the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber as an intern as part of his studies. He joined our team with eagerness, and fitted right in.
After 5 months with us, we have so enjoyed the time with Tom. He left for Netherlands this week and back to university and his life. But Tom certainly left a piece of himself in Nelson Mandela Bay!
This is a farewell gift i made for him. A scrapbook album made from paper bags.
Tom really liked his present and I hope that he will look at it for many years to come, when he remembers his fantastic trip to South Africa, and especially the people from Nelson Mandela Bay.
Have you made a special gift for someone that you were pleased to give them?
Scrappy love,
Zoe

Chipboard title from Celebra8
I made tags for each staff member, with their photo on and they all wrote a message for him.
Each photo is dry brushed with paint, as well as the edges of the bags.
Each page is adorned with photos, journalling (or place for him to journal).
A Pocket hold some more tags.
