11th day challenge at Scrapbook Challenges

On the 11th day of challenges Zoe challenged you, use this title prompt. You can make any title you wish, with the word 'Always' in it. Some examples with a Christmas theme are: We Always make Santa Cookies, 'Always singing', 'Always happy', "Santa Always Comes to our house' - the ideas are endless!!

If you have been playing the progressive Scrapbook Challenge this month you are nearly done! If you choose to do this as a stand alone, that is also welcome :p

ALWAYS BE MYSELF
I used this gorgeous paper from My Minds Eye - Lost and Found Range. i've been waiting for a really special layout as i think this paper is just truly gorgeous.

The paper edges were all distressed. Prima flowers, Kaisercraft Stamp, My Minds Eye - Lost and Found range self-adhesive Alphabet Stickers.

Stamp is from Kaisercraft, jewels, stickers from stash.

Please pop on over to Scrapbook Challenges and take part in the challenge. It has been lots of fun for everyone!!

I will be giving a randomely drawn RAK away, so please be sure to leave a comment here on my blog and link to your layout in the Scrapbook Challenges site.

catch up and a layout

hello blogger friends

what a fantastic November we are having. summer finally seems to have arrived and the Scrapbook Convention came to PE for the first time ever!

and as you know PE ladies rock and we had the best day last week Saturday Scrapping with Glenda and Jowilna at the Radisson.Christmas themed, we did layouts and projects and cards. Can't say too much more until the ladies in Cape Town and Johannesburg have had their turn. So watch this space to see what we did at convention!

Over at Scrapbook Challenges is this week's sketch - 323.

Here is my take on it.

i don't usually use big titles on my layouts, but quite like this one. thanks to my trust cricut machine for the title.

I used an old sheet of Kaisercraft, and cardstock. 2 sheets of paper were embossed in the cuttlebug and embossed, one with glitter powder (circles) and the other with ink.

the spritzing on the cardstock didn't quite come out too well.

hope you do the sketch, and post it to the gallery at scrapbook challenges.

happy scrappin' this week :)
